I really enjoyed doing a volunteering at the hostel! Is a great opportunity to connect with others travelers and locals. Working in reception means you'll have some responsibilities but the work is still pretty flexible. La Fortuna is a great place if you love nature and there are plenty of activities to do around. Also the environment in the hostel is great, everyone is very friendly and professional! I highly recommend coming to La Fortuna and the hostel! :)

I had incredible 3 weeks at the hostel. Edgar and Nati everyone else made me feel with their amazing perso alities comfortable and I was able to practice my spanish. The hostel is clean and there are plenty of opportunities to hang around to relax or connect with other travellers. Especially the kitchen was a place where a lot of friends were made and some karaoke and dance sessions happend. The work was really fun and I had a lot of free time where I did some hiking, jumping from a rope swing and other adventures. Thank you for making my first volunteering experience unforgettable.

There's so many wonderful things I could say about the hostel but I think the most important thing to highlight is the sense of community that the owners foster for the volunteers. I had the very best experience bonding with travelers from all over the world and the locals. Went on so many adventures with my fellow volunteers and also some pretty cool people you meet along the way. Wouldn't trade this experience for the world! Also shoutout to Nati! One of the kindest, most loving souls. Seeing her every morning, along with Eli and Edgar, put a big smile on my face!

I really loved my time at the hostel! I was here for 3 weeks and there was plenty to do in the town. I had so many fun, new experiences and I met so many other travelers and life long friends from this. This was my first World Packers gig, and it is such a great place to start. I feel I had time for everything I wanted to do. Edgar and Eli and Nati made me feel so at home! I learned a lot about myself and about Costa Rica. I highly recommend the hostel if this is your first world packers or if you're experienced (: pura vida

I'd highly recommend volunteering at the hostel, I had an incredible experience!! Edgar and Eli are the more welcoming hosts and will make sure you feel comfortable and support you throughout your stay. The hostel has a lovely friendly vibe, a very well equipped kitchen and cute areas to chill in so you feel very at home in no time. There is an overwhelming amount of exciting things to do in La the hostel so it was great to stay for a longer period of time, and the nature and wildlife there are beautiful. Thank you for such a special first worldpackers experience!!!
