The Experience

We are a really small glamping that is trying to promote eco-friendly tourism orientated towards nature and sports. We are looking for someone the help us "run the show", anything from setting up the tents in June to doing some cleaning and cooking and taking to guests. Weekdays are quite relaxed with weekends quite full as there is a festival around (free entrance). We also want to learn from people with more camping experience and culture.

Staying with Marius and Angela was amazing! The work was fun and not too hard, they also provided so many opportunities to explore the camping and Romania as well as helped us meet so many people. Both Angela and Marius plus their two kids were welcoming and constantly entertaining making the camping and the camping Rock feel like home for the 3 weeks I was there:) I'd highly recommend!

This was an awesome experience, especially if you love slow afternoons, beautiful nature, playing with cute kiddos, and having a campfire singalong. The work is generally easy and can be done quickly. Often there's other chores that Angela and Marius may request help with, painting or cutting the grass, but everything is generally very chill and relaxed. There's lots of trails, natural water sources, and things to do nearby (including music festivals!!) Here you get to interact with neighborly Romanians :) Would recommend!!

Angela & Marius are very lovely hosts that make you feel very comfortable. They are very helpful and you can always ask for your needs. We did many things together and they tried as good as possible showing us around and let us free time to explore the area and Romania a little bit. Even though we didn't have our own car, we managed to see some things around the camping, but you should know that the camping is a small village in nature which we enjoyed a lot. If you are into hiking, nature and a real cultural experience this place is right for you.

I recommend this experience! If you like to be around nature, in smaller towns, this is the place. the camping is cute and surrounded by mountains and nice neighbors. The hosts were welcoming, provided nice meals and were flexible, took us to a nice hike to a waterfall, showed us around. I had some special experiences as walking to a gypsy village, drinking homemade tuica at a local's home and trying the delicious Bulz that Angelica prepared. You'll have plenty of opportunity to connect w locals! I wasn't there 4 the festival, but the set up sounds amazing and is rly close to the camping
