A great experience. I spent a month at Andy and Liza's house. Simple cleaning and gardening work, in which I was able to learn a lot. The working hours were good and allowed us to get to know the town of Retford and the surrounding area. Great to get away from it all. I was able to learn a lot of English and above all practice my communication skills. Thank you very much!

We had a wonderful stay at the camping and, I can really recommend it, especially if you like nature. Retford is also a really beautiful place and is relatively close to bigger cities like Lincoln or Manchester. London is also easily accessible. I learned lots of new things and made many new life experiences. My English also improved as Liza and Andy really try their best to help you get better with speaking English. Liza and Andy are very lovely and understanding people!!

The campsite is simply beautiful, organized and well looked after. Being in a place in contact with nature did me a lot of good. I felt welcomed by the hosts, they are very attentive and kind, always willing to help. Dinner was always a time for conversation and laughter. Working hours and days off were always respected and I had a lot of comfort and privacy in the space they provided for me to sleep. I definitely recommend this campsite to other volunteers. I will miss my days here. I can only thank Liza and Andy.

Andy and Liza made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived, they were very kind and respectful all the time, they explained to me again when I didn't understand something and helped me improve my English. Also, I loved that we shared dinner together. The activities I did were related to cleaning and gardening, depending on what is required each day these activities change. But personally I love gardening activities. It is a very nice place to be in contact with nature, you have plenty of time to unload and get to know nearby places in Retford or other cities
