Andonia and her family were the most welcoming hosts I have had. They are very respectful and make delicious meals. There was a lot of communication. If you are looking to party or meet other volunteer, might not be the place for you. But if you are looking for an amazing peaceful experience with nature and beaches then come stay with Andonia. Andonia was amazing and hours were respected and tasks are basic cleaning tasks. You have a lot of rest time. Because it is a traditional experience make sure to look at the photos and videos carefully of the place so you know what to expect :)

While Andonia and her family were amazing, the experience was not was I was expecting. I was there during the hottest months so that definitely played a factor in my experience as there was no AC in the room (which I think has since been fixed), and the work, while not necessarily hard, was hot as it was done during the hottest times of the day, and I found myself struggling. I would pay special attention to the photos of the accommodation itself, I didn't and was a bit surprised when I arrived. Also maybe be ready for a lot of mosquitos, the hosts didn't have issues but I struggled a lot.

Maria thank you for your review!
I want to advise you that when you apply for an experience you should be responsible for the job and not finding justifications and let it half! Of Course the cleaning is taking place the first part of the day as the guests check-in at 2 pm. Moreover, we have AC in the room and perhaps you didn’t have problem with the mosquitoes as nobody at the house had, but maybe you had an allergy on something!
Good luck to your future experiences😊
