The Experience

HI! We are Anna and Heiner, an Italian-German couple who have decided to often live in the countryside, in a house near the sea. We have a beautiful garden where we grow ornamental plants to fruit trees and a small organic vegetable garden! They call us party people, because we love music, and we enjoy every moment of what life gives us. We are looking for people who love nature and who will help us in the garden and with maintenance at home.

No day off Not enough food/water Host didn't teach anything from the beginning and caused unnecessary tension. There's no wifi. ( To be fair it doesn't mention wifi in the description, but wifi is very important for internacional volunteers)

Anna replied

The host had to leave due to a personal problem, we were with her for a short time, sometimes we didn't have enough food and water and we had communication problems. There was a supermarket 2 hours walk there and back. We didn't have transportation. Then a new volunteer arrived and these problems increased so we decided to leave early. The work was easy, you had to maintain the house and the garden, sometimes it was a bit hard because of the heat, if you work from 7 to 10 am it's not so hard. Then you have the whole day free, there is a beach 30 minutes walk away. The place is beautiful.
